Jericoacoara Airport

Getting to Jericoacoara just got a whole lot easier!

The new airport that opened in 2017 allows for easier transfers to Jericoacoara. Previously the nearest airport was Fortaleza, which is more than 300km away and takes between 4 and 6 hours to get to Jeri, depending on the mode of transport. Now the new Jericoacoara Airport is just a 33km journey away, making it far easier and quicker to get to Jeri.

Currently, only domestic flights are able to land at the airport, but there are plans to have international flights soon. Airlines that fly to the airport are Gol and Azul.
