V Boat Racing of Jericoacoara!

On november 19th, it happened in Jericoacoara the V Boat racing of jeri, a competition between fishermen of Jeri and other locations. This traditional regatta started over more than 20 years ago when the whole water outside Jeri’s coast is full of colorful sails. It was divided into two stages.

1 st - Only fishermen of Jericoacoara occurred on Saturday.
2 nd - Mixed among fishermen from other localities with the local occurred on Sunday.

Both steps were overcome by the same members of the team of Jericoacoara. After an emotional dispute at the end of the second stage where the canoe controlled by Jose de Becio came in at 5th place the last 500m took the front to win the second time and celebrate with the vibrant crowd that expected on the beach. At the evening it all ended with a big party at the beach where all people could get together.
