Malhada Surf Festival 2008 |
The most expected competition of the locals and tourists will happen on February 2nd and 3rd at the Malhada´s beach in Jericoacoara, with a nice structure and good music for the presents.
The competition will have 2 categories, men´s and women´s, divided by: men´s - begginners and open; women´s - one general category. The competition begins on the next saturday, february 2nd after 10am until 04pm. On sunday the finals starts after 11am.
And to celebrate the competition, on sunday there will be a great party at Planeta Jeri after 10pm, with awarding for the winners and a great show with the band Prohkana.
Awarding:
1st place men´s begginer - a surf board 6.0
1st place men´s open - a surf board 6.1
1st place women´s - medal + Pena and Starboard kits
From 2nd to 4th places - Pena and Starboard kits
Organized by locals whom learned and at the present days, practice one of the more radicals and healthy watersports, this competition has the goal to encourage the practicing and improvement of the surf in Jericoacoara.

Registration tax: R$ 20,00 with the competition t-shirt.
