The Passion of the Christ in Jericoacoara enchants the visitors for being an open sky theater, using the village as scenery.

This year’s spectacle involved about 50 actors among natives and inhabitants.

 

Some of them have been interpreting the Biblical personages for years. There is no one who accompanies the Alive Passion of Jericoacoara and does not leave the place delighted to see a so remarkable show.

 

The actors cover Jeri streets while a crowd follows attentive to each scene.

 

The crucifixion was staged for years in the Duna sunset, but this year was different, the scene was in the Serrote hill, place of its first stage.
